In my work as an anxiety coach, I've worked with countless women who struggle with relationship-related anxiety. It's one of my favorite subjects to help individuals work through, because I've been there myself.
In my early twenties, I found myself ripped apart from tumultuous relationships.
“Never again,” I’d swear to myself…and yet, the next relationship would always be a shadow of the last. I continued to bury myself in cycles of toxic relationships, where I devalued my own self-worth and engaged in a “spin cycle” of emotional turbulence.
That spin cycle created a wall within me: I was closed off to loving others, which naturally created a parallel to my ability to love myself. I found myself in a near-constant state of anxiety that left me feeling “stuck”, cranky, and oh-so-drained.
I spent years digging deeply into my own shadows to uncover tools and mindset practices that allowed me to heal my past emotional traumas, lovingly addressed the traits within me that allowed my negative relationship stories to thrive, and built my personal self-worth back up to a place of thriving, full-spectrum vibrancy.
Today, I can confidently say that I love myself…and I love LOVE!
